“PROUD MARY” began in 1998  when CHANTEL DENIESE and her

husband John watched the movie "What's Love Got To Do With It," they were immediately inspired  by the legendary Tina Turner so they decided to put together a band to honor the Queen of Rock and Roll.

Artist CHANTEL DENIESE, is a classy, soulful and electrifying performer who combines the best of soul, funk, and rock in her music.

Her forté is vocal power, so it’s no surprise that Tina Turner would be one of her inspirations. Having performed since her youth, CHANTEL DENIESE shows her whole heart with each song she shares with her audience. Her credits include musical theatre productions, national commercials, session work for various recording artists, and live performances throughout the US. In the year 2003, she went on tour to various cities performing the catalogue from Tina Turner's 2000 tour. Among her many opportunities performing her tribute show, she has been seen on  FOX & CBS as well as sharing the stage with some well known musical icons.  To date, she continues to perform at various venues in the U.S.   She also has her own original music which has been played in the UK where her musical hero Tina Turner has a great fan base.

On this amazing show, she is accompanied with a phenomenal backing band and four amazing, lovely ladies who help put that extra sparkle on the stage.  The entire entourage is committed to the work, the friendship, and the love of storytelling through song and dance. Because Tina Turner is classic, PROUD MARY is humbly grateful to perform for audiences, giving them an experience that they will never forget.
